My approach to wedding photography, like my lifestyle portraits, moves away from the traditional and leads you to a style that is very much in touch with today's trends - unobtrusive, spontaneous and creative. Everyone is different and so your wedding is as unique as you are. I endeavour to capture this over the course of the day. After you've spent a fortune on the dress, the band, the food, the champagne, the invitations, the dress, the flowers, and the location, the only thing you really have left are the photographs.
Recognising that traditional and formal group photographs are still required, I do advise couples to try to keep these to a minimum if possible. This helps a natural flow to events with a minimum of interruptions to the day and consequently allows me to photograph your wedding not only from your perspective but from you're guests view too - moments that go to create your special day.
I also like to dedicate special time away from the guests to capture intimate images of the Bride and Groom alone. This can take about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the location. A high altitude group shot of all the wedding guests before you sit down for the wedding breakfast looks fantastic and add's to the fun of the day.
When you commission me you will have the opportunity to have two photographers at your wedding, each of us covering a different angle. Combined we can capture almost everything that happens. All digital manipulation comes as standard, ranging from colour correction, opening eyes to removing an entire person.
