Samantha Hook Photography was born at the end of 2004, when I moved to the East Midlands and started photographing weddings and commercial projects in this area. However, I’m still an Essex girl at heart and often still work back in Essex and, in fact all over the country.My commercial work centres on promotional and brochure shoots and I pride myself in creating images that really convey the spirit of the product or event, helping to communicate each at its very best.
However, I LOVE photographing weddings as each one is totally unique and brings with it a whole new set of people and events to bring to life in the photographs.
Whether it be a wedding day or a PR shoot, my approach is always the same: to tell the story and create something beautiful from it and to let the personalities speak for themselves. Oh and to have as much fun as possible whilst doing it.
For me, the very best wedding photography happens when the bride and groom are totally relaxed and having a fabulous day, then their personalities really shine through and the photographs are natural and fun.
My job is really very simple: To tell the story of the day and to make sure the bride and groom look fabulous!
