Your wedding day is one of the most expensive and most important days of your life. Before you offer the photography of your special day to the lowest priced bidder consider this:

Is the photographer really an experienced wedding photographer, or simply someone who has bought professional camera equipment?

Are they a member of any professional photographic body? - the SWPP for example and can they prove this?

Does the photographer have any public liability insurance should something unfortunate happen on the day?

Have you seen complete wedding albums from the photographer and are you happy with the quality of the photography that you have seen?

Does the photographer have a choice of wedding albums and do they look like professional and good quality wedding albums?

Does the photographer have any positive feedback letters from previous clients and have you seen them at bridal fairs or will they be exhibiting at one in the future?

Whoever you book your wedding photography with, please make sure they're a professional wedding photographer. It really is worth paying that little bit extra for peace of mind.
