I am a qualified professional photographer and a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.Working in the Midlands, covering Weddings,Portraits,and Commercial Photography. My aim is to provide a friendly professional service at a reasonable cost.
I cover Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire, although I'm happy to photograph weddings anywhere.
Over the years I have worked with people from all walks of life and photographed many subjects. I love the challenge that photography gives me.
As with all of my photo assignments, I am passionate about capturing the true spirit and character of my subjects.
A wedding offers so many wonderful opportunities to both see and feel the emotions of the day. The day is filled with love, joy, laughter and excitement, my role is to see and capture these moments.
I meet with clients at least once prior to the wedding day itself. I also visit all of the venues involved to get ideas for photographic locations and if possible, to meet up with the other people involved with the wedding (for example, the Vicar, Priest or Registrar and also the people who own or run the reception venue).
During the period before the wedding, consideration can be given to the style of photography you like (modern, traditional etc), any key photographs you need can be discussed and suitable photographic locations can be considered. There is no need to rush these decisions can be changed.
When I meet with you, I will show you sample wedding albums and a portfolio of work from recent weddings. There is no need to worry too much about albums at this stage.
On the wedding day itself, if you have chosen to have photographs of the bride-to-be before the ceremony, then I will arrive at a time we agree in advance. After taking all the photographs I feel necessary, I will move on to the place of ceremony to make sure I am present well in advance of the bride's party. This gives me the opportunity to photograph the groom. After photographing of the ceremony has been completed and group photographs. I will move on to the reception with the wedding party.
My time is devoted entirely to you and I will take just as long as is necessary to ensure that everything has been photographed.
A few days after the wedding, the proof photographs will be available. The proofs will be all the photographs taken on the day after editing and adjustment by myself. I will select some for conversion into black and white or for sepia toning or for creative digital manipulation, just so you can get a feel for what can be achieved. It is your choice if you want any of the photographs produced in black and white, sepia toned etc and there is NO extra charge for this. You can now choose what you want in your Album.
