Precious Image Photography
At Precious Image Photography we offer a special service for your special day. We only look to book around 12 weddings per year, to ensure we are fresh and approach your wedding as a special event.We strongly recommend we meet before you book us to photograph
your wedding – this can be at a mutually convenient venue (even at the wedding venue, if we are not familiar with it!), and should take around 1 hour.
After this meeting, if you wish to proceed, and we are happy that we understand - and can meet - your wishes, then a booking can be made; this will require a
deposit.
Pre-Wedding shoot
We invite the ‘principle players’ of the wedding to come to our studio in Ansdell (although this could be done elsewhere by arrangement), to take some portraits. This will normally be ‘Bride and Groom’, ‘Bride and Maid/Matron of Honour’, ‘Groom and Best Man’ – but will be tailored to meet your wishes… and people’s availability! This should take 1-2 hours, and can be around 2 weeks before the wedding.
The Wedding Day
On the wedding day, I am happy to attend as little or as much of your day as you wish – this will all be discussed at the pre-wedding meeting.
I will stay into the evening, if you wish – but would normally leave either after ‘the cutting of the cake’ or ‘the first dance’.
Post Wedding Photos
On a recent visit to Hong Kong, I noticed that it is a regular occurrence over there, for the Bride and Groom, and maybe the Best Man and Maid/Matron of Honour to have a half day with the photographer, in full wedding garb, going out on location to take more staged photographs – such as the bride and groom running through the surf!
These photos, although not having the significance of being taken on the actual day of the wedding, can be really special – and can incorporate places or activities relating to the couples union. This will normally take place when the couple return from their honeymoon – so nice tans are usually evident to add to the mix!
Pricing
I charge a fixed fee of £1,500 – which covers my time for all the photography listed above, and for the finished photos to be supplied on CD/DVD-ROM (with a license allowing you to use/reproduce them for non-commercial purposes – in other words you do not need to come to me for your album or prints, although I hope you do!).
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required with the booking – until this has been paid, your date has not been reserved in our diary! The balance is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding.
Albums and Prints
Any prints, framed or unmounted, or albums will be charged for separately, on a cost plus 25% basis. These can be ordered up to 6 months after the wedding.
Monies for any additional prints, frames, albums etc is due in full with order.
Locations
Although I am based on the North West coast of England – Ansdell near Lytham, outside Blackpool in Lancashire, on the Fylde coast, I am happy to offer my
services for weddings world-wide. Additional charges may apply to cover travel time and expenses where necessary – but I will endeavour to minimise these!
