Whilst every wedding is made up of many of the same parts, to me no wedding is the same as any other! Anticipation, nerves, panic, laughter, tears, the dress, the bridesmaids, flowers, joy, memories of friends & relatives not with you, speeches, dancing, food, wine, children playing, adults acting like children, hugs, kisses, posing for the photos - what's left after the last flower has dried, the food's eaten, the wine's drunk, the confetti has blown away?Photographs, the abiding, lasting testament to the day you dedicated yourselevs to each other. Photographs that bring back memories of the sounds, the scents, the excitement, the passion of the day.
Photographs that will not fade, as memories do, photographs that remain as treasured images of your day, to hand down to children, children's children, to send to friends & relations far away, to keep close by for quiet reflection.
Choosing your photographer is, therefore, so important. You need to be comfortable with your photographer, as they will be with you for the most important part of your day. They will be asking you to pose, to stand in a particular way, to gather together in groups, to smile, not smile, to tilt your head this way, that way, look up, down, to the side.
Some pictures will be quite formal, others relaxed & natural. Your photographer must be able to adapt to all types of conditions & people.
