Lawrence Clift Photography offers 8 unique packages in that you receive ALL of your photo's that are taken on the day, plus you also get to keep the copyright to your photos. This is where we're different to other photographers who say that you'll have a C.D. with ALL of the images on but these will be at a low resolution which will only be good enough to view on a T.V. screen & not big enough to get a decent print from, if you'd like a C.D. @ high res., then you'll pay for it. With us your C.D.(s) are ALL HIGH RESOLUTION.We are aware of the stigma that is attached to wedding photographers in that the photo's seem to go on forever and the photographer takes over the whole proceedings....not with us, it's your big day and we are there to work for you to provide you with the images that you will want to cherish for the rest of your lives. You will receive a good mixture of the family group photo's plus the "reportage" style or informal style photo which captures the atmosphere of the day.
The photographic cover starts with the photographer arriving at the Church about an hour before the ceremony starts, taking photos of the Groom with "the lads" (best man & ushers) followed by guests arriving, then the bridesmaids accompanied by the mother of the bride, then the bride herself along with whoever is giving her away. Photos will usually be taken throughout the ceremony, discreetly, signing the register and then outside the church with friends & family congratulating the couple. From here we then go onto the reception with a stop off at a park if you so wish. If your wedding is a Civil ceremony then all the cover will usually take place at this venue, unless you require something different. Again cover starts about an hour beforehand with informal photos of the bride & bridesmaids getting ready (if you're staying at the venue the night before) and then it's generally a similar format as the church ceremony. Because our packages are very popular, we have enlisted the help of 2 other photographers to help us. Their work is just as good (it's got to be as it's your big day & our reputation), we'll only use another photographer if Lawrence is booked for a particular date (prices & packages remain exactly the same). The main reason that we use other photographers is to keep the prices down!
Another thing to bear in mind is that with most other photographers they'll keep the negatives for copyright purposes, thus if you would like any copies for friends or family,then you'll have to pay for them. With us, you've got the copyright, thus it brings the cost down for any re-prints.
Packages:
By popular demand, we've introduced 5 "reportage" packages. These will include all digital photography with an unlimited amount of photos taken, usually between 500 & 600, (still within the timescale of a typical wedding which is approximately 4 hours from the church to the reception, or 3 if it's a civil wedding. Just to make it clear, we're taking photos all the time but the "groupy" type photos & wedding party photos will take no longetr than an hour after the ceremony). All that you need to do is select the package that suits you best. As most people are aware of digital photography today, you can take lots of photos & only need to print out the very special ones, hence with our 4 album packages you choose your favourite 30 to go into the album & the others will be on the disc(s) for you to do with whatever you like. Or if you would like to supply your own album, then you'd select your favourite 72 to be printed.
STORYBOOK, from £1495
This is an exciting new addition to our range of packages. You still get your C.D. with an unlimited amount of photos taken, but you choose up to 70 photos (40 pages) to be turned into your 25 x 35 Graphi Studio "coffee table book" style of album (each page in the album is a photo). Lots of alternative cover styles are available. Plus, the photos that you choose to be printed in the book, you'll have printed as normal photos as well, at no extra cost. We're also able to supply smaller albums for parents in the storybook style. Comparing this to our traditional album packages is great value for money.
