David Jenkins Photography
Firstly, I began taking photographs when I was in my early teens. My father passed his camera on to me and that was when I started learning, using film and a mechnical looking light meter with a needle that bobbed up and down.Today it's digital but the same knowledge of light and the way it affects a shot still applies. In 1997 I graduated in Photography from Aberystwyth University with a first for my degree exhibition. Since then I have continued my own photography and have had many exhibitions of my work which I still sell today. I enjoy shooting weddings because they present an atmosphere which on a good day can be like no other.
I truly beleive when people are surrounded by their friends and family at such a happy time then they are also at their most expressive. This is where my style begins. From tears to laughter, as long as there is emotion these will be the moments that provide the most lasting shots
